CB Johnny Patrick -- The sophomore has become the team's top cornerback by acclimation now that Woodny Turenne is out for the year. He'll be tested by Rutgers quarterback Mike Teel when he attempts to cover the nation's top receiver in yards per game, junior Scarlet Knights receiver Kenny Britt.

C Eric Wood -- The leader of the Cardinals line faces a fellow senior in Rutgers nose tackle Pete Tverdov. Wood's ability to control the middle of the line will go a long way towards determining the success of the Cardinals ground attack, and his team needs to run the ball well to have a chance at pulling off an upset.

QB Hunter Cantwell -- It's the senior's final regular-season game, and if he wants the chance to play once more in a Cardinals uniform after this he'll need to come up with his biggest games of the season. His receivers haven't helped him much with their dropped passes, but he can help himself by hitting his speedsters in stride and giving them a chance to race through a Rutgers secondary that doesn't always tackle as well as it should.

--The Cardinals are making a change at kicker for the regular-season finale, as Tim Dougherty has retaken the job from Ryan Payne. His 36-yard field goal against Kansas State is the longest successful attempt for the team this season.
