BYU(MWC) has one and I'm not braggin about it. A National Title in the ACC doesn't mean a thing to me, because if it did...<br /><br />These teams would be stellar, but since they aren't... Here's your ACC at it's best:<br /><br />Miami has lost more games(19) in four seasons as a memeber of the ACC than it did in its last seven seasons as a Big East member.<br />Past two seasons... They've gone 12-13.<br /><br />Virginia Tech is probably the best of the teams in the ACC with 2 of that past four ACC titles going their way.<br /><br />Boston College is 30-9 in the past three seasons but couldn't really do anything with it. No BcS Bowl wins with that.<br /><br />Wanna talk about National Title contender. There hasn't been one since 2000. But since Florida St. lost to OU... They haven't done much worth bragging about. Finishing the last three seasons at 7-6 and last season 9-5. BUT thanks to Florida St. They have the ACC's one and only BcS Bowl win back in 98 or 99. AND the sad thing about it... You guys get a yearly invite to beef up your pathetic BcS Bowl win percentage, but you can only be 10% successful in the BcS Bowls. A "div 2" like us has to prove the whole world twice before we can get a legit shot to play, and that has happened twice in the past 4 years. One more win than yours with your 10 appearances you've had.<br /><br />This is all considering you guys get your BcS millions year in and year out for recruiting, coaches, facilities, advertising, and etc...<br /><br />So... When you think your Titles that happened in the past does anything for you now. Our conference(MWC) will conitinue to be better than yours. A non-major conference that you think should be "div 2" is outshining yours.<br /><br />You should rethink which conference should be a "div 2" after your pathetic performance these past 10 years in the BcS.

CougsOnFire.... Easy question.. How many "National Championships" Have the mighty mwc and wac claimed lately or ever for that matter.. In the past 15 yrs. the ACC has 3 NC's, Noles 2 Canes 1.. Both the wac and mwc should be sent down to div 2.. LOL!!!

Ball Hog Outlaw- So answer this question... How does this "4.3" defense of yours go 9-4 in the frickin ACC??? If this "4.3" defense was good. Then you'd do better in the pathetic ACC who is 1 and 9 in BcS Bowl games!!!<br /><br />The MWC has a better Bowl record than the ACC and we've only been to the BcS twice! Even the WAC is better than the ACC which is 1 for 2 at 50% winning percentage.<br /><br />Before you go bragging about your AWESOME defense... Focus on talent that would like to run from defenders and not cops.<br /><br />Just remember BYU was one of the top 10 offenses last year and we're returning all but 5. Please over look us... BHOutlaw... FYI, the Canes won a NC in 2001 and then got hosed in the '02 nc.. Matter of fact we won NC's in the past three decades... 80's, 90's 00's.. What say you???

They also may have to contend with severe NCAA sanctions, which will distract the team if enforced. A .500 season is not out of the question here, dagummit.
