@CFBPlayoff to Announce Today Sites for 2016 and 2017 College Football National Championship Games

Bill Hancock, Executive Director of the Bowl Championship Series, today announced that the final BCS National Championship Game will match No. 1 Florida State against No. 2 Auburn in Pasadena January 6.

 

"From the kickoff in August to the last whistle of the regular season—and every week in between—this final season of the BCS will be a year to be remembered," Hancock said.  "It produced some unbelievable must-see games. The VIZIO BCS National Championship Game will carry that excitement into the new year. In addition, we have a fascinating lineup of other BCS games and a great slate of other bowls throughout the holiday season."

 

The pairings are as follows (all times ET and all games will be televised on ESPN):
