RICHARDS: Solving the disappearance of Cedric Cobbs
It wasn't too long ago that Arkansas running back Cedric Cobbs was considered a Heisman candidate. Now it's almost impossible to find him on the field.
Cobbs isn't injured. The shoulder injury that forced him to miss most of last season is just fine. He scored the game-winning touchdown in an ugly 14-10 victory over UNLV in the season opener. But Cobbs didn't start against Tennessee the following week and his playing time diminished considerably against Alabama last Saturday.
